It's Thursday, April 7, 2005 and we're on our way to Chicago for the Feminism in Hip Hop Conference. We'll be rollin' females deep, and joining over 2,000 registered participants at this historical event. There's a reason my Granny started the first Women's Studies department. There's a reason why I went down this path, and sacrificed so much for Hip Hop. There's a reason Rae's working toward her PhD in Women's Studies. It's all about to come together, so remember these words when the uprising starts. The same way we're raising Princesses up to be Queens, we may have to dead some bitches and hoes. Prepare for some balance, ya'll. Still, we rise.
